Bad Beat Jackpot Participation / Qualification:
The BBJ is only available at the special BBJ tables, under the "Cash Game" tab.
Two or more players must be dealt into the hand.
Players sitting out do not qualify for the jackpot. On the contrary, players who have folded without paying blinds qualify. The losing hand must contain a Four of a Kind, 8s or better to qualify.
The best hand for both the winner and the loser must include their two hole cards and the hand must enter the showdown.
The hand must be raked and the jackpot contribution must be collected, in order for the hand to qualify for the jackpot.
The two highest hands will be considered for the jackpot, if there are two or more hands that qualify for the jackpot, with the highest hand being the winning hand (the winner) and the second highest hand winning the jackpot (the loser of the hand).
A message about the jackpot winner is sent to all open ring game tables (including the non-jackpot tables).
The calculation:
A percentage of the pot on all BBJ tables will be fed into the jackpot. The percentage is 1% capped at € 1. If the jackpot is hit, the full amount will be split as follows:
30% will remain in the jackpot
70% will be paid out
From the amount paid out:
50% will go to the loser of the hand (the Bad Beat),
30% will go to the winner of the hand and the remaining,
20% will be split between the other players who sat at the table. |
